The Fachhochschule in Mainz (German university of applied science) asked Magma to enter a competition to design the university's new visual identity. After the Fachhochschule restructured its teaching programme into three different specialities it became necessary to develop a flagship architecture that situated these three domains of study within the wider university sphere.
